Ejiogbe across the traditions: the name with its page

Èjì Ogbè in Nigeria, Ejiogbe in Cuba — and what the largest entry in the Tratado contains, section by section.

One name per tradition

In the Nigerian spelling used by the academic sources, the first Meji is Èjì Ogbè (or Ogbè Méjì). In the Cuban corpus, the name fixed by usage is Ejiogbe — and this site does not deduce it: the form comes from our extraction of the Tratado, with its page (p. 557), the same criterion module 9 applied to the 240 combined Odus. It is the project's spelling policy in miniature: each tradition with its form, each form with its source, and the table at /odu/ogbe showing the two side by side.
