Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there a Beta launch price?+
We're in the Beta phase of Ifá Wisdom — a growing platform. To reward early users who trust the project at this stage, we offer 22% to 24% off the future price. When we launch the iOS and Android apps, prices return to their regular value: $6.49/month monthly, $44.99/year annual, $1.99 single consultation.
If I subscribe now, will my price increase when the app launches?+
No. As long as you keep your subscription active and uninterrupted, Stripe automatically charges the price you subscribed at — even after prices go up. Subscriptions continue to be purchased and billed through the website, including after the apps launch. If you cancel and return later, you'll enter at the new price. That's why we recommend subscribing while the Beta discount is active.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?+
Yes, anytime. Just go to your Profile and click 'Cancel Subscription'. The process is instant, native to the site, no paperwork, no support contact needed. You keep all Premium benefits until the end of the period you already paid for — after that, your account automatically reverts to the free plan with no additional charges.
What's the difference between Monthly and Annual?+
Both plans have exactly the same features: unlimited contextual consultations, 32k model, full access to the 6 traditional Babalawo sections. The difference is the price: annual offers ~41% savings over monthly ($34.90/year = ~$2.90/month vs $4.90/month). Choose annual if you're sure you want to keep access for 12 months.
What's the difference between Simple and Contextual consultation?+
Simple Consultation presents the Odu that fell with its synthesis and basic essence — free, up to 3 per day for all users (including Premium, which also earn XP and Ase). Contextual Consultation is an in-depth interpretation following the traditional Babalawo structure in 6 sections: practical diagnosis, Ire (blessings), Osogbo (warnings), sacred literature (Ese Ifá, Itan, Orin), divine prescription (Ebó) and taboos (Eewò). Requires Premium or single purchase.
Can I buy a single consultation without subscribing?+
Yes. The single consultation costs $1.50 (during Beta) and gives you access to one full contextual interpretation with the 32k model and all 6 Babalawo sections — no subscription needed. Ideal if you've hit the daily free limit or want to try the quality of contextual interpretation before subscribing to Premium.
Is my data private?+
Yes, fully. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, never sold to third parties. We comply with GDPR (Europe) and LGPD (Brazil). Your consultations, questions and personal diary are visible only to you. You can delete your account and all data anytime in Profile — deletion is permanent and complete.
Does Ifá Wisdom replace a Babalawo?+
No. Ifá Wisdom is a tool for reflection and deepening in Yoruba philosophy, using AI to interpret the 256 Odus respectfully and educationally. An initiated Babalawo or Iyanifa offers direct spiritual guidance, rituals and in-person consultations that complement — but do not replace — the living ancestral wisdom. We use AI as a bridge of access, not as a substitute.
