- Ifá is a system of divination and ancestral philosophy of the Yoruba people, originating from Nigeria and Benin. It is a millenary tradition that uses binary patterns formed by palm nuts or chains (Opele) to generate signs called Odus, each with deep meanings about life, destiny, and spirituality.
- How does the virtual consultation work?
- The virtual consultation simulates the traditional Opele casting using algorithms that generate random patterns based on the moment of consultation. The interpretation is generated by an AI model from the drawn Odu and the context you write, grounded in the sources cited on the site. The AI was not trained on liturgical text, holds no Ase and performs no divination.

- AI is a tool to help study and understand Ifá, it does not replace a traditional babalawo or iyalorisa. It is an educational and complementary resource for those who wish to learn about Yoruba philosophy. For serious spiritual guidance, we recommend seeking a qualified priest.
