What is the Odu Irosun Ofun
Iroso Fun is the Ifá where Agayú waged war with Obatalá for the mastery of the ashé of the heads, and which signals the great betrayal among siblings: the Queen of Dassa was betrayed by her blood sister, who lived hidden with her husband. It speaks of corrupted blood in the family line and of the snares of unscrupulous people, capable of killing so as not to be discovered.
Meaning
In the Tratado, Iroso Fun commands holding fast to Obatalá — if you do not attend to him, he keeps the person suffering illnesses and adversities — and taking care with whom you choose as godfather or godmother, for there are snares against the aleyo. Here Oluo Popo was crowned. A rogación is made with a dog, tying it with a chain and releasing it far off so that it returns dragging it. Not a cent is lowered from the money set for the works.

✦ Recommendations
Hold fast to Obatalá and attend to him, or he will keep you suffering illnesses and adversities. Make the rogación with the dog, tied to the chain and released far off so that it returns dragging it. Take care with whom you choose as godfather or godmother. Set a mat at the door and pay in full the money set for the works.
⚠ Cautions
Guard against the great betrayal among siblings and against unscrupulous, scheming people, capable of killing so as not to be discovered. Your enemy lives near and eats with you: they are a chatterer and an informer. Beware of the law, for you may go to prison for the rest of your life, and of the tragedies on account of gambling, where there is bound to be a death. You have wronged your elders.
This Odu describes tendencies and possible paths to work on — not a fixed destiny or a guaranteed prediction.
Ire

Osogbo

Irê, Osogbo, and reading Irosun Ofun
In any Odù, Irê points to blessings and positive affinities; Osogbo highlights challenges and adjustments. Reading this Odu invites integrated reflection on relationships, work, emotional health, and purpose. Ifá asks for patience, right speech, and—when prescribed by an initiated priest—ebo and disciplines of conduct.
When you use the Ifá oracle with artificial intelligence on this platform, you receive a philosophical and educational interpretation: a learning bridge, not a priestly ritual. Keep that distinction to honour the tradition and the role of Babalawos and Iyanifas.
